Teodora Velloso, a.k.a Teo, is a non-binary Brazilian visual artist who creates through photography, video and collages. With a wide portfolio and experience in multiple approaches, they have been working autonomously as a photographer since 2016 and as filmmaker since 2021. Currently based in Berlin for their master's degree in Film, TV and Digital Narratives, with a focus on screenwriting, editing, and a research around the human relationship with images, technology and auto-fiction. 
         Teo's favorite acting areas are documental and still photography, and what inspires them the most are countercurrent existences, narratives and points of view. Very keen on subcultural movements, until this day most of their filmic production were experimental mini-docs around those: Cartão de Memória (2021), exploring the comeback of film photography among the youth in Belo Horizonte, their hometown; Tempêxaky (2022), an essay on Amazonian port early routine, produced during the Frontier Zones International Winter School documentary workshop (hosted by USP and Leuphana Universität in Manaus, Amazonas)l; 140 BPM (2023), a dive into the emergence of the electronic music subgenre Grime in Brasil after the pandemics, done as their graduation final project.
